Jim Stafford was born in Eloise, Florida and grew up in Winter Haven where he played in his high school band. He taught himself how to play the guitar, banjo, piano, fiddle, organ and harmonica. In 1967 and ‘68 he served as head copywriter/producer and performed regularly on the Smothers Brothers television show. After a career in song writing, television and movie appearances, Stafford opened his own Branson music show in the 1990s.

2013 is going to be an exciting year in Branson, MO! Spring is here and the trees and flowers are in bloom, the Ozarks are springing to life! Silver Dollar City has opened it’s new $10 million roller coaster. Outlaw Run is the first wooden roller coaster to twist upside down 3 times and reaches speeds of 68 mph! That’s fast! Southwest Airlines has also come to Branson and is now flying in and out of the Branson Airport. Not to be left out the theaters have made some changes as well. We have added to our list of great performances with several new shows this year. We have New Jersey Nights, Dancing Queen, Pure Comedy, Adventures of Marco Polo, Kenny Rogers presents “The Toy Shoppe”, plus many more.
